Yeah, I'm not too keen on this love triangle business either, but then I remember they're teenagers that are new to this whole romantic relationship business and they're going to make mistakes like that. Still, I'm not sure why we need so much ~romantic tension~ four episodes into a new series, and the cynical part of me wonders if it would happen so soon if Mako was the Avatar and Korra the bender. Sure, we knew right off the bat Aang thought Katara was cute, but it was only much, much later that anything was really made of it apart from occasional jokes. (And, yeah, they were younger than Korra and Mako too.)
