I am so glad you're the one who caught this. This fic is wonderful, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one going "wouldn't they be great together?" This fandom, which has totally serious Lin/Korra, Korra/Tarrlok. Korra/Amon, Jee/Zuko, Hakoda/Zuko, and canon Tenzin/Pema, which itself has a pretty sizable age gap, but the only fics with these two involve him as her boy toy, (except the one on capslock atla where she ran off to Republic City because she was pregnant with his child in the most cractastic fashion imaginable)? Makes me sad.

Though, depending on how much Lin had to do with the children of the gaang's children, I wouldn't mind a fic with her getting a little weirded out by young Iroh having a precocious crush on her.
