... well.
That... actually went some way toward redeeming the terrible politics of the last three seasons? Like, I am SO unimpressed by "they take their ideologies too far", but "they have the right idea" was so not what I was expecting from this show at this point even as I thought it was what it desperately needed.
And also it did consent with respect to hugs right?
And I cried within the first two minutes when the kids set off?
... I just. Wow. Yeah. Especially after the ableism of the last two episodes, this was not what I was expecting. I mean, I think the shitty ableism is completely tied in to the entire premise of these episodes and the magical cure we've just had, but at least the politics has been partially redeemed?
Like, this is the first time since s1 that I've felt the need to talk to anyone about it...
