Fic - Big Damn Heroes
I realize everybody's still overloaded with awesome from the LNYE works - myself included! - but here's a little extra present courtesy of the genretwisting Deadline Challenge.
Title: Big Damn Heroes
Rating: PG, probably - maaaaaybe 13, for slightly more dwelling on violence than usual? I don't know, I am so bad at this. Totally SFW, though.
Spoilers: Some of the minor characters are from later seasons, but this fic has almost nothing to do with canon storylines.
Characters/Pairing: Team Avatar, plus minor characters: Suki, Yue, Jet, Haru, On Ji, Teo. Mentions of Sokka/Suki, but really, no pairing in particular; though if you want to read it as kind of pre-Yue/Zuko, you can.
Summary: Katara pushes past the curtains that block off the bridge - they have got to get a new door fitted - and stops behind Toph's chair. "I take it we didn't drop out of hyperspace on purpose," she says. (Aka THE GAANG IN SPACE.)
