lunar new year exchange returns!
Hi, all! We're happy to announce that we will be running the Lunar New Year fanwork exchange for a second time this year.
Planning is still in early stages, and so we'd love to hear from you about what you'd like to see happen in the exchange this year. Last year's rules can be found here, and we welcome your suggestions and input if there's anything you think could be changed.
With Lunar New Year being on January 23rd in 2012, the timeline might look like something like this:
Sign-ups & assignments: sometime in November
Penalty-free default deadline: December 16th
Fanworks deadline: January 16th
Posting begins: January 23rd
Treats deadline: January 30th
Posting finishes: February 6th
A reminder: if you defaulted on your assignment after the penalty-free deadline last year for any reason and would like to sign up again this year, we ask that you post a fanwork to the community at some time during the year. If you haven't done so yet, you can peruse the prompts from last year's treats post for inspiration.
