Transcript beneath the cut.

Korra is hurrying towards Naga and saddling her up, when an older female voice stops her.

OLDER WOMAN: Nice night for an escape, isn't it?
KORRA: I have to leave. I have to find my own path as the Avatar.

We get a close up of the older woman, who is wearing a very familiar necklace and hair loops. Your friendly transcriber starts having a lot of feelings.

KATARA: I know you do. Aang's time has passed. My brother and many of my friends are gone. It's time for you, and your generation, to take on the responsibility of keeping peace and balance in the world. (She moves to rest her hand on Korra's shoulder.) And I think you're going to be a great Avatar.
KORRA: (She hugs Katara.) Thank you.
KATARA: Goodbye, Korra.

Outside shot: Korra and Naga emerge from beneath the snow, the lights of their home behind them. Cut to outside Korra's house.

KORRA: Mom, Dad. I'll miss you.
KORRA'S MOM: We love you so much.

Korra gets onto Naga, takes one last look at her family, and rides off. Your friendly transcriber continues to have a lot of feelings.

Ya know, I'm excited but I'm also kinda worried? See, I'm afraid that while watching this show I won't be able to enjoy all the awesome cause I'll constantly be thinking, "but but, EVERYONE I LOVED IS DEAD! WHY?!?"

But still, Korra do want!

And, okay, the "passing the torch" speech was pretty heavy-handed but I liked it anyway. New Avatar, new generation, new cast, I get it. (And I will try not to be sad if Mad Master Toph doesn't show up to cackle at people and make life harder. Maybe there will be flashbacks of how her daughter rebelled against all the chaos by becoming a cop.)

As soon as I saw the hair loopies, I was, "KATARA. ASHDLFJKLDJF." I wish I could see the image on her pendant better, though.

And Sokka being dead- D: D: D: Hopefully since Katara said 'many' and not all, Toph will still be around. Cause old lady Toph would be awesome!
