Title: Red is the Color of the End of the World

Summary: Post-series, Katara is adjusting to the new shape of the world. They all are.
Author's Notes: First Avatar fic ever, and incidentally, fits the challenge too (sort of; this takes place after the war but before the final scene). Contains heavy spoilers for the end of the series.
Katara grew up in a world of stillness and silence, where the sharp snap of breaking ice could echo for miles across endless white plains.
