Thus far? It is my favorite thing ever in the history of ever. LOVE KORRA SO MUCH!!!!!!


I've seen a lot of people compare Mako and Zuko, and I really don't think they're at all alike... but I will say, when Mako says "You're supposed to knock him out the back, not over the side!", his voice sounds just like Zuko. It's creepy. I'm convinced Dante Basco came in to read that one line.


Also, if you haven't read Racebending.com's watch-along, you really should.

Mako reminds me much, much more of Mai than Zuko, which is probably why I like him already.

Amazing series is amazing thus far. FOREVER SOBBING OVER KATARA. I just felt so fucking bad for her, everyone she loves is gone, in one way or another. :(

Mako bores me so far. Bolin's where it's at.

oh my god, when Katara was all "but my brother and all my friends are dead" I totally lost it a little. I was cool up until then! I was being a mature adult about the fact that this series is set many decades later and is about different characters! But somehow I hadn't quite processed the fact that this was because ALL THE CHARACTERS I LOVED GOT OLD AND DIED. It was only when Katara was there to miss them that it really hit home. And then, crying.

Oh gods Katara had me bawling. I love that she's still around, but that she has lost everyone except her kids and grandkids... *wibble*

I am so in love! With the show, and with at least half the characters so far.

I really, really hope that the political stuff is allowed to be complicated. Even if Amon turns out to be pure evil, I want there to be idealistic Equalists, too.

My main impression was being super fascinated by that XTREME BENDING SPORT, whatever it was called, and wanting to know every detail of all the rules and possibly have a video game of it I could play, lol. I enjoyed both eps but yeahhhh that was really what grabbed me.

PRO-BENDING! I believe someone on Tumblr wrote up rules for it (or a live-action version, similar to the live-action Quidditch). I'd have to dig around to find it.

Umm, I am probably the only one excited about this.
