With the end and getting back the bending, I wish they would have split the difference. Like Aaang does show up, so we know there's hope, and he says something about exploring your spirituality and making connections and putting things right, and Korra looks in a meaningful, determined manner toward Lin, and then we have to wait for next season to actually see it work out well.

Sigh. Yes. Korra connecting with the spirit world and it ending there would've been wonderful.

I understand that they had no idea that they were getting an S2, but how on earth did they think that was an acceptable ending for their series? How has she learned about bending vs non-bending in Republic City?
