I feel like maybe I'm spamming you all a little, but: I didn't want to post links to this here until it was finished - but now it's done! First of a series, but it's done. :D

Rating: Somewhere between PG and PG-13 - some violence, mostly inexplicit, and eminently SFW.
Spoilers: In a general sense, for all of S1. However, this story is pretty AU.
Characters/Pairing: Hints of Sokka/Suki if you're looking for them. Katara-focused overall. Includes some original characters.
Summary: Hakoda found the boy in the ice eight days before Kya went into labor. Avatar!Katara AU.
Wordcount: Around 118,000 words. Yes, really.
